What Nitrous Oxide is:
Nitrous Oxide is an oxidizing element used to increase an engine's power output by allowing for faster burning of a gasoline.  It is stored as a liquid, but turns to a gas phase as soon as it mixes with the air.  When injected into a motor, Nitrous Oxide hits high temperatures and splits into both nitrogen and oxygen molecules.  The extra oxygen released changes the pressure in the motor and allows fuel to burn more efficiently, thus increasing Horsepower and performance.  In some applications, proper use of Nitrous Oxide can increase Horsepower delivery by several hundred Horsepower.  Sounds great, but there is much more information to cover.  More ►
